Sanbonani is situated in the Lowveld - Mpumalanga. Sanbonani is in close proximity to the Kruger National Park, God’s Window, Bourkes' Luck Potholes and Pilgrims Rest to name a few places not to be missed in this area. The Phabeni Gate into the Kruger National Park is situated 8 kms from us and the Paul Kruger Gate is 40 kms.
The Sabie and Sand Rivers form two of the boundaries of the resort and the resort itself is situated at the confluence of said rivers. Hippopotami as well as crocodiles are a natural occurrence in especially the Sabie River and Sanbonani boasts a wide variety of bird life

DIRECTIONS TO SANBONANI
Take the N12 East from Johannesburg and pass through the towns of Boksburg and Benoni. The N12 joins the N4 at Witbank. Continue on the N4 until you get to Nelspruit.
Turn left onto the R40, which will take you through to White River. From White River, stay on the R40 to Hazyview – this is very important as just out of White River, there is a turnoff to the right which reads Hazyview / Numbi Gate – DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD, STAY ON THE R40.
Hazyview is approximately 45km’s from White River.
As you approach Hazyview, you will get to a T-Junction where you will go left. Cross over 2 X Stop streets and at the 2nd set of Traffic Lights, turn right – this is the old Kruger Gate Road but is now known as Portia Shabangu Road.
You will pass a traffic circle and Pick & Pay on your right – carry straight down to the 4-Way stop. Continue down this road, over the 4-way stop, and take the first road to your left (it is sign posted) – this is known as Tarentaal avenue.
If you pass over a bridge, you have gone too far.
Take the first right (Stormvoël) and continue down this road which is situated in a residential area. The Road curves to the left – slow down – as it straightens out, you will turn into the first road to your right.
This is a paved road and passes through a farm with Mango Trees on the right-hand side and Citrus trees on the Left – carry straight down to our Main Gate. Please drive carefully.
